Pictures from Paris France

Been busy as hell with tradicional Christmas gifts but
as promised here are some pictures from Paris and my
special affair with the Eiffel Tower ;)

It was a foggy day. The top of the Tower has
reduced visibility. This is the tallest structure in Paris
and one of the most recognized structures in the world.

Besides caricatures photografing is my second passion.

On the left my wife, Vilma and on the right the trafic jam to get into the Tower.
6,719,200 people visited the tower in 2006 and more than 200,000,000
since its construction. This makes the tower the most visited paid monument
in the world per year.Including the 24 m (79 ft) antenna, the structure is
324 m (1,063 ft) high (since 2000), which is equivalent to about 81 levels in a
conventional building.

Some views from the first floor. Next time i will go to the second
floor... by elevator. The actual count of stairs includes 9 steps to
the ticket booth at the base, 328 steps to the first level, 340 steps
to the second level and 18 steps to the lift platform on the second level.
No wonder i got tired on the first level :P

A better perspective of the line to enter the monument and a special
football field on top of a roof!
When the tower was completed in 1889 it replaced the Washington Monument
as the world's tallest structure — a title retained until 1930 when the
New York City's Chrysler Building
(319 m — 1,047 ft tall) was completed.
The tower is now the fifth-tallest structure in France and the tallest structure
in Paris, with the second-tallest being the Tour Montparnasse (210 m — 689 ft),
although that will soon be surpassed by Tour AXA (225.11 m — 738.36 ft).

Some surrounding landscapery.

The architecture of the Tower is just breath-taking, this must be the
most strong monument in the world.
The structure of the Eiffel Tower
weighs 7,300 tons. Depending on the ambient temperature the top of
the tower may shift away from the sun by up to 18 cm (7 in) due to
thermal expansion of the metal on the side facing the sun. The tower
also sways 6-7 cm (2-3 in) in the wind. I didnt know that!

The most romantic city in the world. Next stop Cathedral of Tours, France.
One thing the Tower is painted with 3 diferent colours and that is why you
can take multiple pictures the tone colour is diferent in each of them.

Funny Pictures from the Kruger Workshop

Some funny pictures from the workshop
to share.

Peer Retera was compared to Shrek :D .
On the right Kruger bytes Jert´s feet drawing.

Magnus Berntz Eriksen bought a big, i mean really
biiig swiss army knife. Bernd Schoenebaum was
another "funny fucker"

Allan Buch was a great "funny fucker" from Danmark
and he was a fast learner!

Some other cartoons i made one of Jert and of
Bernd Widenbauer

F***ing Scumbag Irish Niall O´Loughlin after a few
german beers produced a great Sebastian Kruger
painting.

Maester Jean Marie goes Wolverine, it was always fun
to take pictures from him! He was the shortest participant
on the workshop (in comparison here with Jert) but his
humorous skills are enormous.

The Kruger Workshop 2007 family group photo! Below
i explain why holding the rock.

If you can see the family group photo above there is a reason for it.
Righ before the frontier of Luxembourg on France i was driving
prety fast on the highway and caught a big rock (same size i´m holding
on the pic, i blame French for leaving such a big rock on a highway,
thats why i am at Maester Jean Marie) and damaged my wheel so i had
to fix it in Germany, did all the way from Luxembourg to Sankt Goar
without a spare tire! Am i crazy!
The two nice man on the pic with me are the Auto-Shop managers.

From here i´m heading to Paris, will post pics of course.
